This extraordinary brass Greek Chanukah lamp radiates warmth with its golden sheen! The back plate consists of scrolled branches and 8 flowers. A triangular cartouche at the center reads,” For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching is a light” (Proverbs 6:23) in Hebrew.

Historically, this mesmerizing menorah is believed to have originated from the north east port city of Salonika, Greece where Jews are known to have settled already in 140 BCE.
